What Is Dynasty?
Dynasty is our take on a sand volleyball "pro" league. Our own teams, seasons, playoffs, drafts, trades, and more.
Team Structure
- Annual Draft: Teams are expanded every year through a player draft.
- Roster Size: Up to 8 players per team.
- Free Agency: Managers can pick up or drop 1 free agent per week in season.
- Trades: Teams can trade players amongst each other, following agreement from all parties.
- Trade deadline: Deadline for trades is the start of Week 4 of the regular season.
Season Format
- Preseason: 3 weeks of practice and lineup testing.
- Regular Season: 18 total games played across 6 weeks.
- Match Style: Each regular season game is a single set, to 25.
- On Court: 4 players compete during gameplay.
Standings & Rankings
- Primary Ranking: Win / Loss record.
- Tiebreaker: Total points scored.
- Seeding: Rankings determine playoff placement.
Playoffs
- Group Stage: Best of 1 set.
- Quarterfinals: Best of 3 sets.
- Semifinals: Best of 3 sets.
- Finals: Best of 5 sets.
